Wow! Just think! I could have been a pop star! All this time, I’ve been toiling away at this crazy dream of changing the world one college student at a time, when I should have been thinking about how I could become a pop star in 9 easy steps!
Sorry. Lifehack usually has some pretty good articles on there, but this time, I’m sorry folks, I feel like they missed the mark. I go to Lifehack to learn fun new productivity skills, not how to become the next JT. But hey, who knows, maybe I can use this to help my students. After all, since almost none of them have any sense of entitlement that comes as a result of a rich family and a $30,000+/year tuition, I think this will really help to boost their spirits.

Speaking of pop stars, I think we could be of use to some of them For instance, I actually believe that with the right blend of student affairs professionals advising her, Britney Spears could make a true comeback (as a normal person, not one who wears her wedding dress out to carshop with her married boyfriend on the weekends). Sounds crazy, right? However, if you think about it, much of Britney’s issues stem from a lack of challenge and support. For much of her career, she has had too many people around her supporting her, not telling her what’s wrong, just letting her do what she wants with no consequences. While what she really needed was people helping her develop her decision-making skills, rationale, etcetera, so she could effectively transition to the next developmental stage.

It’s official. You win, man. Game over.
I mean, that’s some deep stuff there. I can’t compete. Send me back to grad school.
Who the hell was Chickering again?
