Challenge and Support What did we get ourselves into?

Back in the Saddle

Well, we're back in the saddle again.  In the down-time, I managed to lose my job, and have set down the Student Affairs mantle to take on the yoke of retail.  That's right -- I'm rocking the uniform polo and comfortable shoes, earning my commission at OfficeMax.  Turns out, I almost enjoy the work, and I'm actually a pretty good salesman.  On the down-side, my feet are pretty sore!

That being said, I'm back on the hunt for a job in Higher Education.  I'm somewhat geographically limited, but very open to the functional area in which I might work.  Back to Housing and Residence Life?  Perhaps a foray into Academic Advising?  I really don't know!

I'll be chronicling the search, spinning a yarn or two.  While I'm at it, I'm going to try to recruit some friends to come in here and comment again.
